The City of Franklin is a modern city located in the southern part of Louisiana - centrally located amongst other great cities within Louisiana including Lake Charles, Baton Rouge and New Orleans. The City has a population of 7,800 per the 2010 census. The area produces oil, coal, carbon black, salt, seafood and sugar.
