This is a Teche Theatre for the Performing Arts production, and it will take place December 7, 8 and 9, beginning at 7 p.m.  Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.  Tickets are available at The Lamp Lighter Antiques.

Letters to Santa Claus

The Santa mailbox is in front of City Hall (300 Iberia Street) and will be open from December 4 through December 15 to accept letters to Santa.  The mailbox will close at noon December 15.  Please include a return address if you would like a letter in return.

Christmas Lighting Contest
The City of Franklin is hosting its second Christmas Lighting Contest Thursday, December 14, beginning at 6 p.m.  To enter, turn on your Christmas lights by 6 p.m.  Business owners and residents are eligible to participate.  There will be four residential sections and one business section.  Committee members are not eligible to participate.  Only decorations that are visible from the street will be judged.  For contest rules and more information, please call Barbara Simmons ( or 337-828-6305)/
